I had to send in my computer to HP for repair.
They replaced it with a new one but the start
menu looks different in windows xp. The headings
are abbreviated, such as My comp... instead on My
computer and also My narator isnt on there. All
programs is layed out in 2 columns and on my origional
computer it was listed in 4 columns.
Was I given a different version of XP? Is there any
way to download the other version? I'm used to my
old one and want it back.

This could be a problem with your appearance settings such as large font
sizes. Use the display applet from the control panel and set your resolution
on the settings tab to 1024x768 and see if that makes a difference. If it
doesnt help, put the resolution back and check your theme. Try windows
classic theme and then put it back to windows xp.
