I've got a strange problem. I had a RADEON 9700 PRO
(AGP) installed and working fine for quite a while, but I
had to re-install WindowsXP (upgrade again, not full
install) because of other problems I was having. Now,
windows will not acknowledge that my video card is a
RADEON 9700! I can't install the drivers for it, because
when I try it says I need to first install a standard VGA
device driver. The only device driver I can install is
for any ATI video card OTHER THAN the RADEON, and even
after I do that and try to install the drivers for the
RADEON again, I get a message saying that the drivers do
not support the device/hardware on my computer (even
though it should!!). The VGA driver loaded now is called
VGASave and I cannot get the proper drivers for the
RADEON 9700 to install!! Can anyone help? Thanks!
