2nd User Can't Use Scanner

When a second user logs on and tries to use the scanner
(HP) he gets an error message that says something like "a
line in the registry has been set to default". A second
message then comes up saying the the scanner is locked
(not so cause I just used it. Any suggestions would be
appreciated.

That won't work if your trying to share out a regular scanner
over 2 workstation.
