Where can I go to see what's loading when I 1st start up
my system? There must be some things that are loading up
every time I start and I don't really need them too. And
if so, can I set it up so I can start them only when I
need them. Sorry to be so computer illiterate.

Go to Start/Run and type: msconfig and press OK. Click the Start Up tab
and you will see the programs that start when you first boot. Remove the
check mark from any you want to prevent from starting.
