Try not to DL crap out there. That seems to be the major issue with XP.

I still can not get a signed driver for my MSI nvidia gforce 3 ti200 td128
pro video card, however.(still seems to work though)

I haven't tried to clean anything. It's a new computer with factory
installed XP. I did take off a bunch of the online services, HOT software
deals, etc. that were coming up and clogging my desktop.
