I get this message alot when I am burning a cd or just
finished burning a cd:

STOP:0X0000008E (0X0000005, 0X805B11E9, 0XBA567B90,
0X00000000).
BEGINNING DUMP OF PHYSICAL MEMORY
PHYSICAL MEMORY DUMP COMPLETE

Again it only seems to happen when I am burning cd's. I
have a HP CD-Writer CD16 Series. Any help would be
greatly appreciated. Thanks.

1. See MVP Jim Eshelman's web page for STOP errors at
http://www.aumha.org/kbestop.htm Click on the "8E: Kernel Mode Except .."
item in the left side column for details on your specific error.

2. As this occurs during CD Burning you might find some relevant
information in MVP Alex Nichols article on CD Burning in Windows XP at
http://www.aumha.org/a/xpcd.htm

3. As it appears that you have no immediate need for the memory dump
information (it is normally only useful to a systems programmer or
Microsoft Technical Support specialist) you can change your configuration
so as to stop producing the memory dump for these errors. Open Control
Panel - System - Advanced - Startup and Recovery Settings and change the
selection in the "write debugging information" section to "(none)". You
can always turn it back on should you encounter a situation where you need
the memory dump data for solving a specific error problem.

Good luck
