Losing Disply Driver Settings

Hello

For some reason, I lose my display driver everytime I shut-down for a
while. When I boot up, I get the yellow icon on my display driver
under Device....something about error 39...which could be a million
things.

I've tried un-installing and re-installing the driver. Works fine
until I shut-down.

It works fine when I restart.

I can't recall when I start having this problem. I've even tried
re-installing the OS. That didn't help.

I have a Geforce4 Ti4200; Windows XP Pro w/ SP1; AMD XP 1700 CPU.

For the hell of it go to www.guru3d.com and download a different
Nvidia Driver and try that.
