this is for Outlook, Outlook Exp files may be inside the
Profiles folder.
I just backed up my favorites and email file.
Favorites are in your self titled folder inside "Documents
and Settings" and so is the file containing all your
folders AND email.
If you haven't done so lately, turn on the show hidden
folders option and navigate to:
C:/Document and Settings/Your Login Name user folder
here/Local Settings/Application Data/Microsoft/Outlook
of course this is for finding my Outlook programs special
secret folder containing only my email and "personal
folders" file, the folders used in my email only, your
email program may be in a different location.
An alternative method may be to do a search for
all "Office Data File" (s) which is a .pst file [but won't
come up in an ordinary search for some reason.] and has
the 4-color interlocking puzzle piece icon and is named
whatever you or your email program named it.
