I am using windows XP professional with all the updates
and sp1 .....

I am installing C# .net goodies pack LOL
ok the enterprise .net setup disk.

It says install iis and frontpage.

I went to the add remove programs
add windows components and there is no IIs services???

has this been removed from some service pack or something?

thanks big time for any help
its been a while since I had to install this on a system.
most of our employees can't spell C#.

this is the 3rd system I have set this up on and both had iis as an
option. I believe that it said insert disk 5 and it was setup from
there... I don't understand why now it wants iis installed and I can't
find it as an option.

thanks for any help
this is weird

Hi,

Under Add/Remove programs >> Add Remove windows components , you will see
Internet Information Services listed. Just check the box next to it and
click on next.

I know it should be but its not.
yep its pro not home and sp1 as well.
I can't find anything like a group policy to disable iis from being
seen.
