Dial Up Connection

Hi, novice here. I have a Dell laptop and Windows XP.
After windows have started up and my icons appear on the
desktop, I receive a window stating "Dial Up Connection"
which has my internet provider in it. When I attempt to
close it, an automatic dialup to the net begins. How do I
remove this window and more than likely my internet
provider from my start up?

Hello
Open your browser Tools>Internet Options>Connections, click and remove any
dialup connections that you do not use, put a dot in the dialing you wish to
use(most people use Always Dial my Default Connection)
