Hello,
I have changed something and each time I go to view a folder it brings up a
search box. If you right click the start button my task bar is search, open,
explore, scan for virus's. It should be open, explore,search and scan for
virus's. This is very frustrating if you want to open each sub folder to
view the contents in detail form and instead it wants to search each sub
folder.

Click start---run---type in regedit--ok---Locate the DEFAULT value under the
following key in the registry:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
Click Modify on the edit menu.
Type 'none' (without quotes) in the file data box and then click OK
Quit registry editor.
