Hangs on XP winsme.exe

Hi All

When i start the PC there=B4s no icons on the desktop and no=20
start up bar ,when i stop the winsme.exe the pc start to=20
work properly can you help on this Subject.

You got an answer in your first post. Basically, What does a scan with a
current antivirus program (meaning a version not earlier than 2002 and
using updated virus definitions) show?
