I have a laptop running XP Professional. It has four users defined: One is Administrator; the other three are Limited users.
On the laptop, I can Add Printer for all four users for the HP LaserJet 1300 on another system in the network that is running XP Professional.
On the laptop, I can also Add Printer as Administrator for the HP DeskJet 685 on a third system in the network that is running Windows 2000. However, when I try to Add Printer as any one of the other three users on the laptop for the HP 685, I get the foll
owing message:
"You do not have sufficient access to your computer to connect to the selected printer."
The only login on the Windows 2000 system is Administrator.
How do I add the HP 685 printer to the Limited users on the laptop? If a Limited user on the laptop can print to the HP 1300 (which is logged in as Administrator), I would think that a Limited user should be able to print to the HP 685 (which is also logge
d in as Administrator).
