please can you help i have set up a webcam including mic on my computer. i have no problems in seeing the person on the other side but i can not get the audio to work. i can hear them but the cant hear me.

what can i do

new at this computer game and very annoyed that it wont work

please please help

If you are using the mic associated with the cameras, that is one problem.
Get a real mic and plug it into the sound card on the back of your computer.
Then run the Wizard and make sure that your sound card is the one selected
for all sound, not the camera mic.

A camera mic should work (but it's worth testing), I suspect the issue is
more related to the software i.e. Messenger.

Test that the webcam microphone works, you should be able to use one of the
programs that came with the camera typically.

If it works, then chances are the problems is Messenger. It is very bad at
coping with firewalls and similar, and the only suggestion I have is to try
some other software e.g. Eyeball Chat.
