The internal modem (Lucent technologies) seems to be
correctly installed on my Acer notebook,
but it cannot find access to the COM3 (virtual) port:
the port appears to be always busy.
In reality there is no process
using the port and no resources conflicts.
I've reinstalled the driver but the problem remains.
Does anyone have any idea on what's going on?
