Program folder is allways on desktop at startup.

How can I stop the program folder from littering my desktop?

m not quite sure what you mean by the program folder? is there just a folder
thats called program on your desktop if have you tried just deleting it? if
you have and it keeps reapearing more than likely its in the all users
profile and will reaapear each time you try and delete it you can delete it
from the all user by navigating to C:/documentsandsettings/all users/desktop
and see if its there if so delete it and it will go away

modify the System Registry to remove Common Tasks from your Desktop.

I tried the script but the folder still is there when I start the session.
The start session procedures last action is to start the program Explorer
and it is allways showing the folder named Program on the desktop. It's not
in the start menue or something like that. It's not a big problem but it is
interesting that I can't make it stop. Is it something that Windows allways
do? I have the phenomen on my xp and my 98.
