Standby Error

I keep getting the following message on my laptop when it
tries to go on standby, also it won't shut down sometimes
I have to take the battery out to close down.

Error message:

The device driver for the `standard 101/102-key or
microsoft natural PS/2 Keyboard` is preventing the
machine for entering standby. please close all
applicationsand try again. If the problem persists you
may need to update the drive.


I tried closing everything but still the machine won't
standby. How do I update the Driver
