Hello,

I've two disk in my computer. First is basic, second is dynamic. I had to
reformat the first disk (the system disk) to reinstall Windows XP.
Now, in the 'Disk Management' tools, there is a third disk shown as
'missing' with a size of 8Go
Can you help me to remove this unknow disk ?

Thanks

Right click on the left hand side of the Missing disk and choose "remove
disk".

If this does not work, then go to START|RUN and fire up DISKPART.

Use diskpart to delete the partition....sample commands:

==========================

SEL DIS M0 <enter>

Disk M0 is now the selected disk.

DEL DIS OVERRIDE <enter>

==========================

That should do it, and your missing disk will be cleared from the LDM
database.
