I'm trying to uninstall Java 2 Runtime enviroment, SE vi.4.2_03 with windows add/remove in control panel, but everytime I attempt it the uninstaller states that "error applying transforms: verify that the specifis transform paths are valid

Hi Mark,

This generally means that you have tried to delete the program folder, etc
from another location before trying Add or Remove. More info here for
