Windows XP ,Righthand 1/3 of screen goes haywire

Windows XP Pro has developed following strange behaviour, all
happening in the righthand 1/3 part of the screen:

1. At start, in the welcome screen, there frequently is a differently
colored bar, approx as high as te letters Welcome.

2. When changing windows , leftovers of previous window remain on
screen, blocking the new window at that part.

3. Blank parts blocking the window.

4. When rapidly moving mouse pointer from right to left (only in that
direction), a trail of pointers freeze on the screen.

Again, this only happens in right-hand 1/3 part of the screen.

Furthermore, XP locks up more than previously.

There is nothing wrong. You are imagining it all.

There is nothing wrong. You are imagining it all.

The symptoms you describe are very typical of a bad video card driver.

I (re) installed the latest version of the video-adapter driver.

The problem seems to be solved.
