Which HELP>ABOUT or Properties do I go to check whether I have Windows SP1
installed or SP1a?
Properies of My Computer shows Service Pack 1. Is this general information
that I have installed a service pack or does it state that it isn't SP1a?
Thanks for any info.

There is no need to differentiate between SP1 and SP1a as the difference is
the removal of the Microsoft Java VM.
Since it was possible to add the JVM pre or post SP1a then it is a moot
point is you have SP1 or SP1a

The only difference between the two is that SP1a does not include the MS
Java 'Virtual Machine' to install if that is not present. You can check
if you have that by going to Start - Run and running
WJView
If you have the JVM it will give you its version in the top line
displayed
