saving pictures

when i save pictures off the internet the only option it gives me in the "save as type" box is bitmap.how can i change the settings or options to save as jpeg?

It's time to perform some house cleaning chores:

Go to Start > Run and type: CLEANMGR.EXE , and hit enter.
This will start your disk cleanup utility. Make sure to cleanup
your Temporary Internet Files.

after you download....re-save as .jpg....

In IE, Tools>Internet Options...>General tab. Click on "Delete Files..."
button in center section.
