View Full Version : MSN not working properly

Everytime I am in a conversation and type a message to a
contact, it takes several seconds for the text to appear
in the conversation window. During these 5-10 seconds
MSN completely locks itself up, but no other programs are
affected. It is a major inconvenience for me. It only
occurs on my computer, not any others as far as I know.
What do I do? I am no computer whiz, detailed
instructions would be appreciated.

This is the wrong forum, you want
news://news.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.msn.messenger
Either way, my understanding is that this was a bug with an earlier version.
Install the latest version.

Hi,
Actually this is the Microsoft Windows XP Messenger group -- MSN Messenger 6.x is a .NET
Messenger client that was designed for a variety of Windows versions, including XP and
therefore is on topic.
