S-Video

I am using a connection that turns s-video into RCA. I hooked it into the back of my laptop then ran the RCA to the t.v. and I still have no picture displayed. Does anyone have any idea what I have done wrong?

Turn TV ON.

Connect PC to TV with S-Video cable.

Reboot PC. Windows will now know there is a TV attached.

Right click on Desktop, select Properties... In the Settings Tab, click on
Advanced, then on the Monitor tab... 'Switch' output from Monitor to TV. No
version of Windows can 'see' a device that is turned off so currently
Windows doesn't know there is a TV attached to your PC.
