My Documents auto-expand

Is there a registry setting to keep 'My Documents' from
auto-expanding when I open Windows Explorer?

Simple change to Windows Explorer shortcut will do it:

Right-click on the shortcut
Select Properties
Make the target look like this:
%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e
