etc.....so far you have provided absolutely N O T H I N G.....

Is the system up to the task of running XP? You didn't state your computers
specs, so it is hard to give specific suggestions. Ram is a very important,
and should be at the minimum 128 with 512 giving very good performance.
If you want to list your system specs, we can help you better.
