Win XP Prof and Promise Ultra DMA IDE 100 Controller:
Problems with the ASUS A7V133 Promise 2 channel Ultra
DMA 100 controller with Western Digital 60 gig drives
and DataBridge removable cartridges.
Intermittantly the BIOS does not find the Western Digital
600 drive. During BOOT, and during operation
the event log gives: \device\SCSI\Ultra1 did not
respond in the time period.
This upsets Goback which reboots to avoid system
curruption.
