I right now have an 8gb hard drive which is my C: drive.
I am desperately running out of space on it so i got a a
new 120gb hard-drive and i wish to keep the info on the
8gb C: But i wish to install xp pro on the new 120gb,
then transfer my info and music, etc..the the new one.
The only problem i think of is though if i move it, since
the original hardrive has xp on it, will there be a prob
in moving the info onto the new one?

Your new hard drive vendor has a disk copy utility on their web site
that is XP-compatible and will copy your old disk, including all boot
sector information, over to the new disk. Be sure to follow the
instructions -- you need to swap the old disk out and the new disk in
with the correct jumper setting that matches your old disk installation
(IDE channel connector and master/slave/cable-select jumper setting).
Once you get the new disk to boot, you can install the old disk in as a
second drive if you like, but you won't have to copy anything from it.
