Hi,
I am trying to use my cellular phone Sony Ericsson T200
as a modem with my notebook Toshiba satellite running
windows XP.
The problem I have is that my Windows XP home version
does not have the file setupx.dll neither the "Phone
monitor options" programs in the Control Panel.
Can anybody tell me where and how to get the setupx.dll
for XP and also the Phone Monitor options?
I will appreciate any help.
Is it necessary to upgrade to professional edition? if
so, can I upgrade from Home to Pro?

Thank you

Nicholas

To make a dial-up connection using an infrared-enabled cellular phone:

1.. Make sure that infrared is activated on the cellular phone. To check compatibility, see your cellular phone manufacturer's documentation.
2.. Establish an infrared link between the cellular phone and the computer by aligning them so that the infrared transceivers are within one meter of each other and the transceivers are pointing at each other. For more information, see Related Topics.
3.. Open Network Connections.
4.. Double-click Make New Connection, and then click Next.
5.. In Network Connection Type, specify the type of connection that you want to make, and then click Next.
6.. Follow the instructions in the wizard.
Notes:

a.. To open Network Connections, click Start, point to Settings, click Control Panel, and then double-click Network Connections.
