I want winxp to see all the size of my new Maxtor 200 gb
plus harddisk.

I have the winxp pro with the plus pack innstalled

I have a:
1. Big hd
2. a bios that support big lba disks, I upgradet this and
now the maxtor dos based format prog see all the 200 gb.
3. I have done as adviced in ms knowledge base.
http://support.microsoft.com/?id=303013
I modified the registry with the values discribed:
Value name: EnableBigLba
Data type: REG_DWORD
Value data: 0x1

I can still not see more than 128 gb in disk management or
in partiton magic.

What to do now?

By the way my windows is very slow after the reg tweak.

hmmm, I wonder if it is something as simple as you are looking at a 128
GB partition that you created on the disk prior to getting 48 bit LBA
working. If you installed XP RTM on this big disk then upgraded to SP1,
then I expect that your partition is 137 GB or less in size. Now that
you have installed XP SP1, you can expand the partition to 200 GB, but
beware of what happens to your big partition if you reinstall XP RTM.

Note that if you proceed to expand the partition and ever reinstall XP
RTM on this disk, you will lose your 200 GB partition because without
SP1 slipstreamed into the install, XP won't be able to read the entire
partition.
