View Full Version : Upgrade to XP - on new partition - old programs?

Help.
I've just put WinXP on my machine on a seperate partition
to where i used to have WinME installed i was just
wondering if theres any way for me to get all my old
programs that were installed under WinME working again.
do i need to re-register them or something? if so is
there any programs i can get that'll do it for me?

Dan,
You will need to reinstall the programs from the original media, one by one.
They need to install drivers in the proper Windows folders, plus putting
pointers in the Registry in the appropriate places.

You'll need to reinstall any applications that you want to use
with the new OS.
