hp scanjet 3200C install on xp

Can anyone help? I went to hp and dl a software/driver
pack but it still won't install, Help.

I had a similar problem. Although my drivers loaded, they didn't work
or didn't work properly. You didn't say which driver you downloaded.
There us one small driver that is supposed to "patch" your original
scanning software, Precision Scan LT, to make it work. This driver
loaded OK but did nothing to make it work. Try downloading the full
software replacement that is about 40 MB or order it on CD. This one
works for me. However, when the second user logs on it won't work for
her. HP says its an OS problem. I haven't worked it out yet.

Before you install either, be sure to completely uninstall previous
versions and make sure there are no scanners showing in the Task Manager.
