I purchased a Home Edition full retail version (non-oem) and find the Country of Origin labeled as Ireland on the COA. Is it safe to open? Will it work OK in USA? Or should I return?

The COA is not green, it is white with light blue and grey security pattern in the background. The box is green.

It may be that it was manufactured in Ireland. The only way
to resolve your inquiry is to contact Microsoft directly:

|I certainly hope so. I haven't opened it yet because of the COA label saying, Origin: Ireland. For this
reason I don't know if it will work in USA.

It was - and it's perfectly legal. It's odd that it's on sale in the US
though. Ireland (Dublin to be exact) is the manufacturing headquarters for
Europe.
