If you are using drivers for your hercules that are
marked 16.055 you must have Windows XP service pack 1
installed on your machine. If you do not have SP1
installed download the older driver from the hercules
site.

Thanks for the reply, yeah I have service pack 1 installed, sorry I should
have mentioned that...
