disappearing emails

My outgoing emails keep disappearing as I am writing them! If I then close windows XP, they reappear, but how do I avoid the problem in the first place.

Probably best to post this in a group for your mail client. If you're using
Outlook, try microsoft.public.outlook - if you're using Outlook Express, try
one of these (for your version)

microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie5.outlooke xpress for OE 5.x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie55.outlook express for OE 5.5x
microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6_outlooke xpress for OE 6.x
