Can anyone help. I have an email in the Outlook Express outbox which has an attachment. Everytime I try to send or delete it, it crashes OE. How can I delete this email without going into OE.

With OE not running, in Windows Explorer, delete the outbox.dbf file. To
locate it; in OE, go to Tools->Options->Maintenance tab, left click on
Store Folder button, note the location of the store.

"...delete the outbox.*dbx* file"

In WindowsXP, the OE user files (DBX and WAB) are by default marked as
hidden. To view these files in Explorer, you must enable Show Hidden Files
and Folders under Start>Control Panel>Folder Options>View.
