Hi, Hopefully someone out there can solve this problem!
Ok, so i bought Nortons Systemworks 2003. Now every thing
on it works perfectly fine EXCEPT for one of the main
things i bought it for!! GO-BACK.
I tried turning off XP's own system restore as well as
installing it before the rest of the utilities within the
package but this is what happens.
I install it, then it tells me to restart my computer
so naturally i do, but then while it loads back up it
gets stuck in DOS and the message C:\NTLDR is missing
appears and the only way to get back into windows is by
turning GO-BACK off.
Does anyone know what this is and how it can be solved.
I've tried speaking to Norton but they re-directed me
here!!
PS. I don't have a dual booting system and i bought my
computer brand new WITH windows XP so it wasn't upgraded
from an old operating system.
Hopefully someone can help
Thanx :-)

Considering that Go-Back is really a Roxio product, even though the
"personal" addition comes bundled with System works I looked on the Roxio
Support site and found this
http://www.roxio.com/en/support/goback/goback_product_alert.jhtml#PA3 .
You might also want to check there "user group."

I hope that the post mentioning Roxio helps you.
I had GoBack on Windows 98 FE and SE for a couple of years from SystemWorks
2002, and it gave me no problems.
But I would not choose it for XP. I use system restore, of course (that is,
I would use it if I ever had to -- I never have) and I do a full system
backup twice a week using the MsBackup look-alike product from Stomp. This
is fast, because it backs up c: and d: (IDE drives) onto a very fast, wide
SCSI e: HDD which is just for backups.
