CD-ROM-RW

I am having problems with my CD-ROM when I try and play
music CDs or mp3s from CD. The drive reads the
information and loads software from CD fine but when I
try and play music from a CD the sound is the same;
distorted and unrecognizable. When I try to play mp3s
the music sound shakey but at least recognizable. I have
tried the Troubleshooting interface but it was not
helpful. I have only had this computer just a few
months. It wasn't doing this when I first got it
though. When you post a response please email me letting
me know that something has been posted.
