For some reason when I try to shut down It just restarts.
This is getting very old very fast. If someone could tell
me how to plese fix this problem.

First thing to try is to check to see if APM support is enabled. Go to
Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, Power Options. On the APM tab
make sure that enable APM support is checked.
If that doesn't work, Jim Eshelman has gathered a great deal of info on
