Scanner compatability

I have an old scanner (FB-7) from a company that is out
of business (Info Perephials) when I try to install the
scanner with Windows XP compatability it will not install.
How can I install this scanner

You can't. It is not just a software issue but also a hardware
issue. Windows XP does not give drivers the liberties with hardware
that earlier versions of Windows did. If the drivers do not meet
the standards of at least Windows 2000, Windows XP will not let them
run.
