I recently purchased a new Samsung 172T lcd monitor for my computer. Right
now I am using a Radeon VE/7000 to drive it and a Sony 19" CRT monitor.
Since enabling this setup, I have experienced frequent hard lockups, usually
while viewing movies or editing in Photoshop. I did not have this problem
before. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Where might the problem be?
I'm using the latest drivers from ATI for my card, and my XP Pro is
up-to-date on all patches. Has anyone had this same problem before?

Usually LCD displays require 60Hz to work. If you changed that setting to
improve your CRT's view, you will have to change it back to 60Hz and put up
with the flicker in the CRT monitor.

I can set the frequency independently on each monitor. Right now my LCD is
set at 75 (which it can handle) and my CRT is at 85. I'll try setting them
both at 75 and see if that helps things.
