If I try and create a MDE version of a Access 97 database
it will not compile with Windows XP as the operating
system. If I create a MDE using another computer running
on Windows 2000 Pro, it will not open under Windows XP
but is alright under Windows 2000 Pro. Any idea what is
wrong?

archaic software...invest in newer version....
