The reason I ask is because I accidently recycled and deleted it. I was dealing with my first virus and went a little crazy. I downloaded the Zoo Tycoon Flip Card game and the timer isn't working. I was wondering if my deleting the time monitor has anyt
hing to do with it. If it does do you know how I can get the file back where it belongs? Thanks.

It is fortunate, for me, that I don't want to be a world leader. Who wants that responsibility. The game was for my daughter to play on rainy days. Does anyone out there, know of place where they do care about gamers? That can actually answer a questio
n without a snide comment?

If the file you deleted was a Windows XP system file, you can do this:
1) Place your XP install cd in the drive.
2) Do start/run/sfc /scannow
sfc will compare your system files with the files on the CD, and if any
are missing or changed, it will replace them. You may have to reinstall
any updates or Service Packs after this.
Or, you could simply run System Restore to a Restore point previous to
the point in time when you deleted the file. This would probably be the
best choice for you. Note, however, that you will have to reinstall any
programs you installed AFTER that Restore Point, or they may be unstable
or unusable until reinstalled. System Restore won't remove any data
files you have saved, only programs.
To access System Restore, do "Start|All Programs|Accessories|System
Tools|System Restore".

Do you remember the exact name of the file that was deleted?
