In using my Intellimouse, it (the cursor) very frequently "balks" (that is,
it doesn't move smoothly - even though I am moving the mouse, the cursor
will stop for a second of two - then continue to go where I intended it to
go). I uninstalled the software - then reinstalled (version 5 - the
latest). Same problem. I have another Microsoft mouse at work (wireless)
which works fine and I also have a Logitech Bluetooth which works fine.
Until recently, They ALL worked fine and all while loaded on the same
system. The batteries are brand new. What could be the problem? I am
virus-free and have no major programs (memory hogs) running in the
background when this happens. Also, I have emptied my Norton Garbage Bin.
Did I miss anything? Thanks...........
