Microphones

Does anyone know if there is an easy (other than going
into control panel, sounds, etc) way to mute a mic on XP
Pro?

I have an icon for volume control in my system tray. Sounds
and Audio device in control panel, put a check mark in
"Place volume icon in taskbar."
Then you can right click the icon, select "Open volume
control" and you'll have the mic mute.
