just upgraded w/Windows XP, now my password is being rejected for Outlook expres

I just upgraded my OPS to Windows XP Home edition, and
now when I open my Outlook Express I get this error:

There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your
Password was rejected. Account: 'mail', Server: 'mail',
Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR invalid user name
or password.', Port: 110, Secure(SSL): No, Server Error:
0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC92

Can anyone out there help me with this? I have DSL cable
modem via adelphia.

Hello
Try removing the account name then retype it then the password.
Sometimes the account name is not recognized.
