"Microsoft Data Access Components 2.5 is already
installed on the version of Windows that you are runnung.
Setup
cannot update the system. for more information about
updatimg Microsoft data Access Components 2.5 on your
system, see the download page relating to this release of

The MDAC files are needed on your system for various applications. You will find the
refresh here

Without knowing too many details you could try installing the latest version
of MDAC. If you go to
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/search.aspx?displaylang=en and search for
MDAC you'll see links to the different versions there.

That's not an error message. That's an informational message. If that =
version, or later, is already installed then you don't need to install =
it again. When you walk over to the printer with a wad of paper to =
refill it but upon arriving at the printer you find its feed tray is =
completely filled, do you remove the old same paper and put in yours? =
No, it's already filled so you don't need to fill it. If whomever wrote =
the program cannot figure out that it simply needs to bypass that =
install and continue, well, then there are folks too stupid to walk away =
from the printer, too. You need to talk to whomever developed the setup =
program to figure out why they are too stupid to ignore the non-problem.

Of course, if they are too stupid to figure out that the software has =
already been installed and to bypass that bogus "error", then maybe =
they're too stupid to figure out how to actually detect the version of =
MDAC that is actually installed. Get Microsoft's MDAC utility =
"Component Checker" at http://snipurl.com/3zh7.
