System Disk error

Hi,
My mom was playing a game and her computer froze. So she turned it off and
now when it starts up it says, no system disk, insert valid system disk and
it just stays at the prompt "boot from atapi cdrom disk boot failure insert
system disk press enter". The red light does not go on on my computer case
as well.
Any help would be appreciated

The boot sequence is incorrect. When next start-up, press DEL (or w/e)
during P.O.S.T., and check that comp is set to boot from HDD first. The
next two boot choices are CD and floppy, in either order.

Typically, all three of thee boot choices should be selected...in the
sequence indicated above.
