Hope someone can help. All of my quick launch icons have
disapeared. What procedure do I use to restore them? I
really like the "desktop" icon. It is very helpful.
I am using XP Home Edition. Also, if I would like to
customize it even further, how do you add icons to the
quick launch?

Thanks!
Scott

Right click the taskbar and, from the drop down menu, select Toolbars.
Another drop down menu will appear. make sure there is a tick next to the
Quick Launch option.

John:
Thank you! That did the trick! I got Internet Explorer and
the desktop button back but outlook and media player is
still missing. Is that an install issue?
Thanks again for your help! It is greatly appreciated!

locate outlook on the start/all programs menu and drag it to the quick
launch bar. Do the same with media player.

Also, when you have re-established the Quick Launch, remember there are
little arrows just to the right of the icons. Click on those to see hidden
Quick Launch items. You can adjust the Quick Launch box to show at least 5
or 6 program items (maybe more, I just never tried to see how wide the bar
could be made).
