CD-Drive won't work

I have an internal CD-Drive/Burner that is connected to
my laptop. It has worked since I got the laptop yet
while playing a CD-Rom game it suddenly ejected the CD
and has now disappeared from My Computer. I can't access
any CD's anymore yet the light on the CD-Rom is on
meaning it has power. What should I do?

Call your mfr. Sounds like that drive might have died on you.

Does it see it in safe mode?
